Again, please explain how that is different from abusing the quest exploit.

Bug in quest allows user to bypass quest requirements? Check. Spreading information? Check. Not reporting it? Check.

I'm pretty sure the difference is degree. Thousands of people probably abused the quest. I'm not defending either party. It's clear that a rule violation occurred, and a ban is also justified according to the rules. I understand that.

At the time I do remember people being concerned that taking a run to Slavers and going into Duncan's section 7/8 for the clear was actionable. As to whether or not anyone actually got banned for doing so...? The only time I can recall Anet releasing a statement and hard numbers one way or the other was the Mallyx dev outpost.

You could extend this beyond just the Slavers issue. Was anyone banned for the GH exploit that let you ferry players to any outpost in the game via guild hall preview and the leave GH option? I doubt it, but then there really isn't any way to know.

Amy you are talking in complete circles:

I originally stated:
The Slaver Exile portal thing is listed as a bug.

Then you said this:
Really? Where, I mean, where was it listed as bug before the update?

I stated:
It is listed here:
So what if it is not BEFORE the 11 March update

Then you said
Good that you admit that it wasn't listed anywhere

I stated:
I never stated it was listed anywhere else EVER.

and you came back with this:

Yes I said it was listed as a bug. It's one of four bugs under big letters that proclaim; Bug Fixes. ANETs official website:
http://www.guildwars.com/support/gam...es/default.php
Please note I have not said the bug was ever listed previously, just like the first time I stated that it was listed as a bug.

What are you talking about here? I guess I can take a stab at this anyway. Are you saying since the bug was not previously published/listed that ANET cannot enforce the EULA over the Slavers Exile Bug?

Quote/Show me where I lectured anyone? You are reading way beyond what I stated.

OK I re-read all your comments to me and I cannot find where you ever asked me "Where do you draw the line?" ever. It must have been really obscure, so much that I did not register the question being asked.

And the "class" stuff from my OP is from the comedic genius of Cheech and Chong, their Sister Mary Elephant skit. I feel you may have missed that.

The only thing I did was point out what exists in the EULA in regards to bug and the exploitation of them and possible punishments that should occur if you broke rule 19.

Yes I know all about it. Still not sure what you meant by "accepted". I understood "known".

So where is the fix? Still waiting for the 'proper' bug fix...

But then again, I've been reporting two botters in JQ several times in the last couple of days and they're still bombing... guess we shouldn't expect too much too fast.
